Well, you may not know it yet, but you do have a talent! It's yours and it's unique, and there is no one else whose talent is quite like yours. And God gave it to you because He wanted you to use it. It was a gift from Him and He is waiting for you to open it and to use it. Think about the last gift you gave someone. You probably picked it out because you thought it would be perfect for that person and you couldn't wait for them to open it. But what if they unwrapped it, took one look and said, "Hmm, that's nice, but I really like the present you gave Michael better than what you gave me." How disappointing that would be for you! Unfortunately, that is just what we are doing to God when we reject the gift he gave us and instead are envious of the talents of others!
So what is your gift? It is up to you to figure out just what that is. It doesn't have to be something spectacular like a heart surgeon or a rocket scientist for NASA. It can be as simple as having the kind spirit it takes to be a volunteer to visit with shut-ins. Maybe you work well with children and your specialty could be in the daycare field or with Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. Do you have exceptional organizational skills? Your church or a local charity may be in need of a leader. The list is absolutely endless!
